About me
Megan Ferenczy earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University at Buffalo and has served as Director of Education at the Virginia Holocaust Museum for the past 13 years. She has completed graduate coursework in Museum Studies and has extensive experience in education, museum outreach, and public programming. Her experiences in both museum education and the classroom have shaped her approach to Holocaust education, reinforcing the importance of teaching the Holocaust with historical accuracy, compassion, and a commitment to remembering and honoring its victims. She carries these principles into her work at the Virginia Holocaust Museum through the development of educational curricula, programs, and community outreach.
