This professional learning session is designed to help middle school ELA teachers maximize the impact of Lexia PowerUp by understanding the student experience, leveraging data to drive instruction, and implementing routines that accelerate literacy growth. Participants will explore how PowerUp develops foundational literacy, word study, grammar, and comprehension skills while experiencing key components of the program from a student's perspective. Teachers will learn how to use myLexia data to monitor student progress, identify areas of need, and connect performance data to instructional planning and intervention decisions. The session will also introduce the 5-Minute Check-In, a practical daily or weekly routine that enables educators to quickly review data, celebrate growth, identify instructional priorities, and determine next steps for support.
